QUESTION:

Is being overweight so much of a problem for my Labrador?

ANSWER:

Obesity is an ever-growing health problem in Labradors.

The critical problem is that canine obesity can lead to very serious disease, and overweight dogs run a significantly increased risk of developing:

  • Heart Disease
  • Respiratory Problems
  • Arthritis
  • Diabetes

It is very easy to deal with obesity in your Labrador – it requires you, the responsible owner, to look at two areas of your dog’s nutrition:

1. Commercial Pet Food Diet

This area is covered thoroughly in Chapter One of Labrador Health For Life! The important information is that most commercial pet food manufacturers “bulk” out their food with between 45% and 65% of carbohydrate-packed grains in every can of pet food. Please consult our three Food Programs on pages 30-46 of Labrador Health For Life! to give your Labrador a cheap, healthy and nutritious diet.

2. Recovery from Obesity

It is important for your dog’s long-term health that you begin our 7-Step Recovery Program at the earliest opportunity. You can find full details on pages 82-84 of Labrador Health For Life!

Remember, our eBook is written by experts and comes with an unconditional guarantee - do this for the sake of your innocent family companion - you will be delighted with the results!
